The Union Underground is proud to offer Bowling, Billiard Tables, Air Hockey and MORE for your enjoyment.  We also offer locker rental and a very high speed data port. Our current facility rates are listed below:

Bowling

Twelve separate bowling lanes with state-of-the-art automatic scoring.

Shoe rental is available

Reservations are accepted for individuals, organizations and special functions.

League bowling

Available for University faculty, staff, students and the general public. Exciting competitions! The league schedule corresponds with the fall, spring and summer semesters. Click to view the current league standings.

Glow Bowl

Glow Bowl (black lights, lasers, music) is available at special times Thursday through Sunday. Give us a call at 475-6670 for specific dates.

Billiards and Bumper Pool

The Underground has 13 regulation billiards tables. Table rental varies depending upon day and time. Reservations for both individuals and organizations are accepted. See rates below.

Air Hockey, Poker Tables, Games, and Big Screen TV

The Underground has 3 air hockey tables, one foosball table, chess and cards available for patrons. There are also two 52" big screen TVs for your viewing pleasure.

Locker Rental

Rental lockers are available, by the semester, to faculty, staff, students and league bowlers.

For your computer: Laptop Lounge

Before there was WiFi, there was the Laptop Lounge and it's still here in the Texas Union Underground.  You'll have to bring your own short internet cable, but these are fast ports, including electrical outlets right beside them to keep your computer charged. Who said wired was dead? And, you get to check out the bowling action in the Underground and take advantage of the snacks and drinks available at the Underground service desk.

Note: Docking stations are for the exclusive use of UT faculty, staff and currently enrolled students.
