Occasionally someone says a book was published by us when it actually was published by another Texas university press. The Library of Congress is a good place to verify the publisher of a book, or you can try searching some of the likely candidates: Texas A&M University Press Consortium (comprising about ten publishers) or Texas Tech University Press.
If you're looking for an out-of-print University of Texas Press book, you can try calling a used and rare books dealer if there is one near you. Also, there are a number of used book stores on the Internet; one place to start is Bookfinder, and any search engine will give you more places to look.
