The University of Texas Press Journals Division was established in 1975 with the primary goal of fostering advances in academic research and scholarly publishing.
For over 30 years, UT Press Journals have made significant contributions to their fields while serving as vehicles for scholars to publish their research. Our journals strengthen the UT Press book acquisitions program and produce special issues relating to current research.
Within the arena of on-line publishing, the Journals Department continues to explore electronic publishing and marketing advancements. Available on-line through Project Muse are Asian Music, Cinema Journal, Journal of the History of Sexuality, Journal of Latin American Geography, Joyce Studies Annual, Latin American Music Review, Libraries & the Cultural Record, Texas Studies in Literature & Language and The Velvet Light Trap.
