The mission of the Office of Community and School Relations is to promote mutual understanding as well as build and sustain cooperative relationships between the University of Texas at Austin and communities throughout Texas. The office plays a key role in communicating the University’s policies, programs and contributions to a wide range of constituents and reflecting the needs and concerns of the community back to the University.

The Office of Community and School Relations promotes public service projects and activities of mutual benefit to the campus community and external constituents and coordinates the university’s outreach efforts related to promoting a diverse student body, faculty and staff.
