Live Broadcasts

The quality of a live broadcast depends on the equipment being used for the broadcast. To set up a live broadcast for an event, please send e-mail to TeamWeb, and a member of this group will assist you with setting it up. TeamWeb recommends you contact us at least a month in advance for your first broadcast. You will need to have a camera and microphone to capture the event, a connection from the camera to a computer, and software on the computer to encode the live video stream. The following free encoders support the corresponding file format. The Helix server supports all three file formats, so the choice is yours.

File Format Encoder
QuickTime QuickTimeBroadcaster
RealMedia Helix Producer Basic
Windows Media Windows Media Encoder 9 Series
