Cancer messed with the wrong Longhorn

Newly minted Biomedical Engineering graduate Kelly Moynihan is going into the business of saving lives. Her inspiration: Her father’s battle with renal cell carcinoma. Her credentials: She assisted Cockrell School of Engineering Professor George Georgiou to characterize a novel method of antibody identification. Her goal: To develop new types of cancer treatment that can be used in her lifetime. Next stop: M.I.T. for a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering. Remember her name. You may want to thank her one day.
