Teaching Positions Available for 2014-2015

The Center for Asian American Studies is seeking Assistant Instructors (AIs) and Lecturers for the 2014-2015 academic year. We are especially interested in teachers for the following subjects:
- Introduction to Asian American Studies
- Literature and Cultural Studies
- Government and Politics
- Creative Arts
- Community Health
Courses may be comparative and cross-disciplinary, but must have at least one-third Asian American content.
Assistant Instructor applicants must have at least an MA in a related field, must have taken 398T class, and be enrolled for at least 9 hours at UT-Austin during the semester they will be teaching. AI positions are reserved for UT graduate students. AIs can generally only teach lower-division courses.
