Sarah got her B.A. in French from Auburn University in 2010, after completing an honors thesis on the topic of the Gothic cathedral in France as symbol. As an incoming student in the Ph.D. program in French Studies (2014-2015), she is interested in continuing to explore connections between religion, artistic expression, and French/Francophone studies as research topics. Her time "off" working at Auburn University Libraries also encouraged budding interests in digital humanities and translation studies. She has spent time abroad, first as an undergraduate in Paris for a study abroad summer program, and then post-graduation for six months as a teaching assistant in a French high school in Châlons-en-Champagne.
