Posted: May 16, 2013
Graduate student Kyle Endres has received a Patricia Witherspoon Research Award from the university's Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life. The award funds original research in the areas of public service, government, community service, civic life, citizenship, and politics. Endres' research, "The Attributes and Engagement of Persuadable Voters," examines which voters are open to being persuaded by political campaigns, how campaigns affect such voters' political participation, and campaigns' effectiveness in persuading these voters to cast ballots in a campaign's favor.
