Graduate Student Wins Lora Romero Award

Graduate student Brandon Robinson received the 2013 Lora Romero Memorial Award for Interdisciplinary Research in Race, Ethnicity and Gender, for his paper "The Beauty of Online Dating: Quotidian Practices of Sexual Racism on a Gay Dating Site."
The Lora Romero Memorial Graduate Award is co-sponsored by the Center for Women's and Gender Studies and the Department of English. This scholarship is a $500 annual award created in honor of former UT colleague Lora Romero.
