Salvador Plascencia,  novelist   Acclaimed Author of The People of Paper

Plascencia is the acclaimed author of The People of Paper, a Los Angeles Times Favorite Book and San Francisco Chronicle Book of the Year.

Adam Gopnik - April 1, 2010

A staff writer at the The New Yorker, Adam Gopnik is best known for his dispatches from Paris, which were anthologized in the book Paris to the Moon. During his UT visit, he will discuss his recent book Angels and Ages: A Short Book about Darwin, Lincoln, and Modern Life.
