Prague, Charles Bridge

Caleb Crain is a frequent contributor to The New York Times Magazine, the New Yorker, and the Paris Review.  He is the author of American Sympathy:  Men, Friendship and Literature in the New Nation, combining literary criticism and historical narrative.  His first novel, Necessary Errors, debuted in August 2013 and tells the story of a young American who travels to Prague shortly after the Velvet Revolution, hoping to learn something about the world and about himself.

The Joynes Reading Room is located on the east side of the Coarthers Residence Hall at 2501 Whitis Avenue on the University of Texas at Austin Campus.  Paid parking is available at the garage at 25th Street and San Antonio. 

 

No tickets or RSPV are required, however seating will be limited.  Call 512 471-5787 for more information.
