Our Services

If you are unsure of who to contact, please use the WORQS List of Services. If you need assistance or want to offer feedback on the List of Services, please contact the Facilities Service Center at 512-471-2020.

WORQS stands for Work Order Request and Query System web site. Anyone with a university appointment and high-assurance EID can access WORQS. This system is your one-stop shop for electronically requesting and tracking facilities-related work. Whether you need to submit a maintenance request for service, request an installation or renovation, or plan an event, this is your electronic resource.

There are different WORQS requests; pick the form needed depending on your needs:

WORQS Maintenance Request

Requests for maintenance or repair of building; building systems such as heating/cooling, ventilation, electrical and plumbing; equipment integral to the building such as restrooms, doors, and lights; grounds such as sidewalks, lawns, trees, shrubs, and pest control; general custodial requests such as restroom supplies and non-hazardous spill cleaning.

WORQS CRIB (Construct, Renovate, Install, Build) Estimate Request

Request an estimate for a Construction, Renovation, Installation, or Building project. No account number required. Project Management and Construction Services will contact you to discuss your project and provide an estimate.

WORQS CRIB (Construct, Renovate, Install, Build) Work Request*

Request Construction, Renovation, Installation, or Building project. Forgo estimate and approve work. Account number required. Project Management and Construction Services will contact you to discuss your project and coordinate the work.

WORQS Service Request*

Request for services such as furniture repair; installation of pictures or wall brackets; fabrication of shelves and equipment; unscheduled custodial services; non-event moving services; signage, map, floor plan, space data, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Computer-aided Design (CAD) requests. Account number required.

WORQS Event Request*

Request support for an activity or event; rental of chairs, tables, table linens, lecterns or podiums, easels, sandwich boards, coat racks, folding screens, plants, risers, carpeting and skirting for risers, flags, stanchions, trash cans and liners, recycling containers, water pitchers and water glasses. Account number required.

* Only a WORQS Request Coordinator (WRC) may use this form because an account number is required. To become a WRC, complete and submit the eSR10 implementation form. For assistance, call the Facilities Service Center at 512-471-2020.

You can check the status of your work requests in WORQS by accessing the “Requestor Profile” page.

You still have the option to complete a Service Request Form SR10 (pdf) and fax it to 512-471-8788. On the J.J. Pickle Research Campus (PRC), you may complete a Work Request Form for CRIB (construct, renovate, install, build) estimates and work requests and fax it to 512-475-8167.
