*downloadable PDF file
The 2013 Campus Planning & Facilities Management (CPFM) Showcase is an annual opportunity for our employees to learn from and about one another. This event provides peer-to-peer education and information about the roles and activities of CPFM departments. It creates greater awareness and understanding of how CPFM employees support the learning, research, and public service efforts of the university. The event allows employees to demonstrate how skills used in the workplace can be applied at home. In addition, the Showcase offers sessions that promote personal growth as well as professional development.
When & Where
Day and evening staff members can attend the event, which will be held on July 25, 2013.
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Showcase courses are taking place at the University Teaching Center (UTC). Participants can also take tours of special features of the Main Campus.
Employees may attend some or all of the conference, as agreed upon with their supervisor. Attendees receive training credit.
How to Register & Enroll
Complete the online registration form linked above. The form includes live links to TXClass, which requires EID. You must submit the registration form and enroll in your chosen session(s) in TXClass. Selecting the "Enroll in TXCLASS" link for the time of the session you want will take you directly to TXClass to enroll. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Check the box next to the class or tour you wish to attend. (Mouse over the ? mark to the right of the session to see a description of it.)
Step 2: Select the link in red to enroll for that tour or class in TXClass. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for EACH class or tour you wish to attend.
Step 3: Submit the registration form; the link to submit appears at the bottom of the form.
Please select sessions carefully to avoid overlapping schedules. For example, don't register for a session that occurs at the same time as a tour you wish to take.
Employees may use a paper form (pdf) to register.
If you have questions about registration, call Irma Ureña at 512-232-7190 or any of the committee members.
