B.F.A. in Theatre Studies— Interview

Applicants must interview with Theatre Studies faculty to be considered for admission to the B.F.A. in Theatre Studies.

Once your ApplyTexas Application and Department Application have been submitted, the Department Admissions Coordinator will contact you to set-up an interview.

How will I complete my interview? 

Applicants may interview in person, over the phone or on Skype. Our undergraduate admissions coordinator will contact you to determine your preference and schedule your interview once all of your applications materials have been received.

Freshmen Applicants

All applicants must submit their ApplyTexas applications by December 1. The department will only consider applicants who list our majors as a "first choice." Applicants may check the status of their application and update their selections through their MyStatus page. Applicants will automatically be considered for the B.A. in Theatre and Dance should they not be admitted to the B.F.A. in Theatre Studies.

Transfer Applicants

All applicants must submit their ApplyTexas application by March 1. The department will only consider applicants who list our majors as a "first choice." Applicants may check the status of their application and update their selections through their MyStatus page. Applicants will automatically be considered for the B.A. in Theatre and Dance should they not be admitted to the B.F.A. in Theatre Studies. 

External Transfer Application
Available August 1, 2015

All applicants must submit a change of major application by March 1. Please note that candidates who plan to audition must attend one of the audition dates listed above. There are no separate audition dates for transfer applicants. Online auditions will be received through Acceptd until March 1.
