Accessibility Scanning and Assessments

Linking FireEyes Connection to WorldSpace

Connect FireEyes to the WorldSpace server to analyze Web pages with the same standards WorldSpace uses to scan sites. You can also access the report from the last time the site was scanned as well as manage your own remediation work or that of your team.

  1. Make sure you have already installed FireEyes
  2. Start Firefox
  3. Enable Firebug
  4. Go to the FireEyes tab in Firebug
  5. Go to the Settings tab in FireEyes
  6. Complete the form:
    • Server URL:
      • Make sure and change this from the default value.
    • E-mail address: your EID
    • Password: your EID password
    • Confirm password: your EID password (again)
  7. Click Update & Login

This will save your EID password to your Firefox password manager. To protect your credentials, we would recommend you set up a Master Password:

  1. In Firefox, navigate to Tools > Options
  2. Select the Security tab
  3. Check the Use a master password checkbox
  4. Set a new Master Password
  5. Click OK
  6. The Master Password will be applied once you restart Firefox.

If you are using a shared system, you should delete your credentials from Firefox whenever you are finished. To delete your password:

  1. In Firefox, navigate to Tools > Options
  2. Select the Security tab
  3. Click on Saved Passwords...
  4. Select the following entry from the Site column:
    • chrome://worldspace (Worldspace FireEyes Server)
  5. Click Remove
