As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

Deleting a Blog

Note: Before deleting your blog, consider exporting your blog data (posts, pages, comments, etc.). See instructions on Exporting Data for Your Blog.

  1. From the Dashboard page, click the Settings link on the left.

    Tip: If you see only icons in the left navigation menu, click the arrow at the bottom of the menu to expand your options.

  2. Click General.

  3. Verify that the E-mail Address listed is yours.

    Note: If you change the email address listed in this field, an email will be sent to the new email address asking for confirmation. The new address will not become active until confirmed.

  4. From the Dashboard page, click the Tools link on the left.

  5. Click Delete Site.

  6. Check the "I'm sure I want to permanently delete my site, and I am aware I can never get it back or use MY BLOG again." checkbox.

  7. Click Delete My Site Permanently.

  8. Check your email. Click the link in the Delete My Site email to confirm deletion of the blog.
