Removing an ActiveSync Connection from Windows Phone or Windows Mobile Devices

These instructions are for removing from a Windows mobile device an ActiveSync connection to the Austin Exchange Messaging Service. Please note that this will delete your AEMS email and calendar items from your device. These instructions are specifically for Windows Mobile 6. Details may vary by version.

  1. Tap the Start menu.
  2. Select and open ActiveSync.
  3. Press the "Menu" softkey found in the lower-right corner of the screen.
  4. Select "Options".
  5. Press the "Menu" softkey again.
  6. Select "Delete".
