As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

Connecting to utexas Wi-Fi

Note: The "" Wi-Fi network will be retired on May 26, 2015.

Current students, faculty, staff, and official visitors have access to the wireless network on campus (SSID: utexas). For more information about why the University is changing the WiFi network to utexas, please refer to the article available here. You must configure your computer or mobile device to use utexas so that the security and sign-in processes work correctly.

Applications that require publicly accessible IP addresses

Due to the large number of devices on the wireless network, connected devices are no longer assigned publicly accessible IP addresses.
