The University of Texas at Austin
As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

Virtual ID Cards

As a member of The University of Texas at Austin, you have a Virtual ID Card that you can use in some locations on campus instead of your physical university identification card. Your Virtual ID Card displays your UT EID and ID photo on a Web page. This service isn't available everywhere, so ask before you count on using it.

  • Display your identification credentials on the Web at various locations on campus that require an ID card
  • Requires your UT EID to use
  • NEVER rely on your Virtual ID card as a replacement for a lost or stolen university photo ID card

Use of a Virtual ID Card is available at no cost to members of UT.
