2011 Henry W. Strasburger Lectures in
Trial Advocacy Focus on Voir Dire

As part of the Henry W. Strasburger Lectures in Trial Advocacy, the law school is hosting a voir dire lecture and demonstration by renowned litigation consultant, Dr. Douglas Keene, on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Dr. Keene is a clinical and forensic psychologist with a national consulting practice which includes the design and implementation of pre-trial research strategies, witness preparation, jury selection strategies and case strategy.

During the demonstration, Judge David Phillips (Travis County Court at Law) will serve as the presiding judge, and Austin attorneys Karen Burgess and Dirk Jordan will appear as counsel. The lecture and demonstration, open to all students and faculty, will be held in the Jeffers Courtroom.
