The Declaration of Intent to Study Law must be be filed by all persons who have begun their law study at ABA-approved schools in Texas and intend to apply for licensure in Texas.

Your Declaration must be filed or postmarked by October 1st to be considered timely-filed. A $150 late fee will be imposed on all Declarations filed after October 1st.

Applications must be received by October 1, 2012. Fellows will be notified by December 7, 2012.

Decline period closes today at noon (Central) via UT Law Symplicity. Student schedules and interview awards will be released at 10 a.m. (Central) on Thursday, October 4, 2012.

The second round of student interview awards are released today at 10 a.m. (Central) via UT Law Symplicity.

Rod Wetsel is an attorney from Sweetwater, Texas and a lead authority on Wind Law in Texas. He wrote the current Wind Law book with fellow Professor Ernest Smith. Professor Wetsel will be teaching a Wind Law seminar course in the Spring Semester. This lunch will give students information about Professor Wetsel's upcoming course and allow them the opportunity to ask Professor Wetsel questions about his class and Wind Law in general.
