    For the fourth year in a row, a large contingent of our students and several of their professors will devote part of their winter break to providing pro bono legal services to underrepresented populations in the Valley. Please join our students and their attorney-supervisors for a luncheon from noon until 1:30 p.m. at the McAllen Country Club, 615 Wichita Avenue, on Thursday, January 10 in the Ballroom.

    TJOGEL's Texas Energy Law Symposium

    UT Law Students: The Texas Journal of Oil, Gas & Energy Law is hosting the 8th Annual Texas Energy Law Symposium on January 17-18, 2013.     Taking a Case to the TX Supreme Court

    Clients need to understand the process, the odds, and the time and expense of taking an appeal to the Texas Supreme Court so that they can make informed decisions about settlement and whether and how to proceed. Educating clients also helps manage expectations so that there are no surprises. Hear from board-certified civil appellate attorney Pamela Stanton Baron (‘78).
