Last day to add a course, or drop a course for a refund. This is the 12th class day. All courses dropped after this date will require approval and will appear on the student's transcript.

The Texas Journal of Women and the Law is now accepting membership applications for the 2013-2014 school year! Returning students and 1Ls are all welcome to apply.

The Texas Review of Entertainment & Sports Law is hosting its annual symposium Friday, September 13 in the Eidman Courtroom. The event will take place from 9:00 to 4:00 with various panels and discussions taking place throughout the day. Topics include athletes asserting their trademark rights, athlete and league battles, crowdfunding in the entertainment industry, and the effect of streaming services on traditional media. Breakfast pastries will be served and lunch will be provided by Career Services.

Planning meeting for UT Law CLE 2014 School Law Conference

Second- and third-year students and alumni up to one year after graduation are eligible to participate in Fall On-Campus Interviews per employer requests. Online application period ends today at noon (Central) on UT Law Symplicity .

A discussion on what can be done to address unsafe living conditions at apartments across Austin. Following a presentation by a UT law student on recent reports examining national best practices for code enforcement and increasing safety in apartments, the panel will discuss what strategies should be adopted here locally. The panel will include a focus on two proposed rental registration ordinances coming before the Austin City Council on September 26th. This is the first event in a four-part Opportunity Forum series on Accessing Safe and Healthy Communities in Austin.

Registration: Attendance is free but seating is limited and an RSVP is required.

Interesting in volunteering with Catholic Charities of Central Texas' U-VISA Assistance initiative?

Student volunteers will work with immigrant survivors of crime to complete applications for legal status in the United States by submitting applications for U Visas.
