1Ls: come learn about judicial clerkships - what they are, why you should clerk, and what you need to be doing now to best position yourself to apply over the summer and in early fall.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Representatives will discuss the mission of the Institute and will provide information on their fellowships, internships and scholarships. Hosted by the LJB School of Public Affairs.

Join Professor Philip Postlewaite, the Director of the Tax Program at Northwestern University School of Law, to learn more about Northwestern's LL.M. in Taxation Program in Chicago, Illinois. The presentation is open to all J.D. students interested in pursuing the LL.M. degree on either a full-time or part-time basis following graduation. Lunch will be served.

Recruiters from the National Security Agency will provide information on their organization and on jobs and internships. The application process and timelines will also be discussed. Hosted by the LJB School of Public Affairs.

Working for a nonprofit or government agency this summer? This session will prepare you to thrive and get the most out of your summer work experience. Clinical professors and a panel of students familiar with nonprofit and government settings will discuss how to handle opportunities and challenges that come up in these unique work environments. Lunch will be served.

Exclusive screening: "Big Men" (2014), an inside look at Texas E&P startups and international petroleum transactions

This is a press conference to present a report called "Deadly Heat in Texas Prisons" produced by the Human Rights Clinic. Clinic students will present their findings on certain penitentiaries in Texas which have no air conditioning.

Professor Sokolow will present a session entitled “Legal Analysis: Remedies Under the UCC” for 1Ls currently taking Contracts and working with the UCC. The session is a great explanation of remedies and how to analyze problems; don't miss it!
