In 2011, Wales was the first country in the world to introduce a domestic law on the rights of children.

This brought into Welsh law the requirements of international law on the rights of the child. It compels Welsh Ministers to have regard to those requirements when exercising their functions.

This discussion brings together the key figures at the heart of this landmark development. Find out what really happened, and what lessons they can share.
