Serve on a Committee

We have a number of committees that allow our faculty affiliates to become more involved in guiding Center direction and activities, including the:

Rapoport Center Steering Committee. The steering committee will provide guidance regarding the Center’s strategic direction and operations. The committee will meet at least once a semester for planning retreats and on an as-needed basis.

Annual Human Rights Conference Committee. The conference committee is responsible for planning and coordinating the logistics of the Center’s annual human rights conference.

Undergraduate Curriculum and Outreach Committee. This committee will provide input on the Center’s interactions with undergraduates, including curriculum reform and development, the Student Advisory Council, and student outreach efforts.

Graduate Curriculum and Outreach Committee. This committee will provide input on the Center’s interactions with graduate students, including curriculum reform and development and student outreach efforts.

Speakers and Programs Committee. The Speakers and Programs Committee is responsible for suggesting and recruiting speakers for the Human Rights Happy Hour series as well as offering guidance on Center programming and activities.

Fundraising Committee. The Fundraising Committee will aid the Rapoport Center with fundraising activities.

For more information about specific committees or to express interest in serving on a committee, please contact co-director Dan Brinks.
