Mark Kincaid is a partner with George Brothers Kincaid & Horton, LLP. He is board-certified in Civil Trial Law, Consumer & Commercial Law, and Civil Appellate Law. Mr. Kincaid represents consumers and businesses in insurance and deceptive trade practice litigation, and business disputes. An experienced trial lawyer for over thirty years, Mark has been honored by selection to the American Board of Trial Advocates, and designation as a Texas SuperLawyer each year since 2003. Mark’s colleagues have given him an AV® Preeminent (5.0) rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, the highest rating for competence and ethics.
In 1994, Mark was appointed by Governor Ann Richards to head the Texas Office of Public Insurance Counsel, a state agency that advocated for insurance consumers, where he served before returning to private practice.
Mark has taught Texas Insurance Litigation as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas School of Law, since 1995. He also co-authors West’s Texas Practice Guide: Insurance Litigation. Mark is active in legislative advocacy on behalf of consumers, serving as Legislative Vice President and Legislative Co-chair for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association during the 2009 and 2011 sessions.
