The Senior Program is designed for managers who hold positions in the upper levels of agency organizations. Consideration for admission into the program requires major program, project, and/or people-management responsibilities.
The 2016 Senior Management Program will be held at the Drury Plaza Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas.
The cost for each eight-day course is $2,075.00 which includes all program materials, breaks, and the assessment instrument and report. Tuition does not include lodging and meals.

The Senior Management Program consists of a five-day first phase followed by the three-day second phase. Participants address current personal, professional, and organizational issues relevant to senior level executives in government and universities.
Presenters include Center staff, nationally known consultants, and distinguished university faculty. The course utilizes a variety of instructional methods and styles, simulations, discussion, and a confidential, multi-rater leadership skills assessment to facilitate learning. Topics vary to meet changing needs, but this year's offerings include opportunities to build skills in: Advocacy, Communication Strategies, Teamwork, Vision, Values & Integrity, Organizational Culture, Diversity, Negotiation, and Change Management.
Included in the program, participants may participate in a one-on-one coaching session with one of the Center's experienced executive coaches. During the session, the coach will help the participant and identify strategies for enhancing leadership effectiveness. The coaching session will also provide feedback and guidance to assist the participant in designing an on-going professional development plan.
