Three hours a week for five weeks, or as required by the topic. Content varies and cover a wide range of policy topics. May be repeated for credit when the topics vary.
Short course to be taught in Beijing, China from August 4 through August 14.
The Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs will offer a one-credit course on “Policy and Planning Instruments for Green Innovation” in Beijing, China during August 4 to 14, 2011. Faculty from the Graduate School for International Development of Cooperation (IDEC) at Hiroshima University (HU) and Beijing Normal University (BNU), Beijing will coordinate this course, in cooperation with faculty from other universities including the LBJ School of Public Affairs. There may be also other instructors from Tsinghua University, Fudan University of Fudan, and Beijing Jiaotong University of Beijing. The course is being offered to graduate students at IDEC/HU, masters and Ph.D. graduates of IDEC/HU and graduate students from Chinese universities, in addition to LBJ School graduate students.
