David G Bogard
Job Title
Research Interests

-Turbine Blade Cooling  -Thermal/Fluid Measurement Techniques Dr. Bogard currently directs research programs in gas turbine cooling.  Cooling of turbine components in gas turbine engines, used on aircraft and for electrical power generation, is critical they operate at temperatures in excess of 3,000 deg F.  Dr. Bogard directs experimental research at facilities on the main campus and at the JJ Pickle Research Center. He also directs computational efforts for designing advanced cooling configurations for the next generation of gas turbine engines.
