The mission of the Center for Advancement of Research and Education in Infectious Diseases (CARE-ID) at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is to: 1. Conduct collaborative and interdisciplinary laboratory-based, translational, and clinical research for infectious diseases; 2. Foster clinical and graduate research training in infectious diseases; and 3. Enhance the knowledge of health care providers and the public about infectious diseases.
