This Saturday, April 13, the tower will be lit orange as the university community celebrates five Undergraduate Studies students’ outstanding academic achievements at the 64th annual Honors Day Convocation.
For the first time since Undergraduate Studies became eligible for honors in 2011, our school is proud to announce that Trey Grothouse has met the rigorous academic standards to become a Distinguished College Scholar. At the ceremony, the academic deans will present him with a commemorative medallion.

Students and their guests will meet with Interim Dean Larry Abraham for a special luncheon immediately prior to the convocation and will be given an autographed book by Dr. Michael Starbird, 5 Elements of Effective Thinking.
