|A number of colleges and schools have plotters for student use. These include the College of Natural Sciences and the School of Architecture. There may be restrictions on the use of the plotter, so you may also need to explore off-campus options such as copy centers. Please contact each site directly well in advance of the time you need to print.|
If you design your poster on a Mac and transfer it to a PC for printing, or vice versa, you may experience unexpected changes in the layout or fonts.
To be absolutely safe from last-minute formatting trouble, design and print your poster from the same type of computer with the same version of software. Make sure the font on your poster is also available on the computer from which you will be printing.
If printing from the same type of computer and same version of software is not possible, convert the poster file into a PDF before transferring it to the computer from which you will print. You can do this by going to File > Print and selecting “Print to PDF” or “Save as PDF.”
