Texas Traditions plans and executes programs and events aimed at building UT spirit and pride. it does so by continuing traditional events and creating new ones. Our largest traditions are Road Trip, Forty Acres Fest and Texas Revue.
Texas Traditions organizes the annual Forty Acres Fest, a campus-wide festival featuring unique booths and amazing entertainment by 200+ on-campus student organizations. This free event allows student organizations to showcase their creativity and diversity. Past attractions have included caricature artists, rock climbing wall, competitive eating contests, funnel cakes, drum wars, photo booths, and much more! The event culminates with a live concert by some of the world's most legendary artists such as Big Boi and Girl Talk.

Texas Revue Auditions are happening this February, 2015! EmCee auditions are on Sunday, February 15; Act auditions are on Saturday, February 21.
This annual tradition showcases a variety of acts including dancing, music, and skits performed by student organizations and individual performers. Texas Revue prides itself in choosing diverse and talented acts to produce the most entertaining show possible. With over 55 acts auditioning each year and averaging over 1,000 attendees, Texas Revue has truly made a name for itself. This stellar show brings the campus together on one night, and awards cash prizes of up to $1,500!
Deadline for EmCee Audition sign-up is Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 11:59pm.
Deadline for Act Audition sign-up is Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 11:59pm.
All applicants and performers must be current UT Austin students.
