EMPOWERING WOMEN TO LEAD!
Summer Session: June 17-22, 2012
Six Days....One Mission
The Center for Women's and Gender Studies brings you a powerful and inspirational summer program geared specifically for college women who aspire to become leaders! This six-day program serves to help women in college gain the knowledge and skills necessary to become innovators in the world of politics, public policy, and public service. NEW Leadership™ Texas will network you with women leaders who, like yourself, are on a path of discovery toward their highest potential. Women leaders will lead the program and share their insights to inspire you to unlock the possibilities of your future. Each year, a diverse group of women from colleges and universities across Texas will be exclusively selected to attend NEW Leadership™ Texas.
NEW Leadership™ Texas will open previously unimaginable possibilities for college women and encourage them to break down barriers that have traditionally kept women from political life.
Graduates of the program will become elected officials, campaign managers, congressional staffers, issue advocates, and leaders in their communities and campuses.
