What Is Justice?

Performing Justice Project (PJP) Co-directors Megan Alrutz (Assistant Professor, Theatre & Dance) and Lynn Hoare, (Theatre for Dialogue Specialist, UT Voices Against Violence), engaged 25 young women from across Texas in imagining and performing gender and racial justice during the Summer 2013 PJP. WGS MA student Patena Starlin-Key and MFA Student Meg Greene assisted as Teaching Artists. PJP participants created a wordle of terms important to their work during the three-week performance project in June. PJP is a project of the Center for Women's & Gender Studies Embrey Initiative.
