Congratulations Professors John Friend and Marquis Berrey

John Friend (PhD 2009) has accepted a tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor of Classics at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where John holds a visiting appointment there this year.

Marquis Berrey (ABD) has accepted a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Classics at the University of Iowa.  Marquis currently holds the University Continuing Fellowship.  His dissertation is entitled "Science and Intertext: Methodological Continuity and Change in Hellenistic Science."
