Professor Daniel Birkholz Awarded a Solmsen Post-Doctoral Fellowship

The Department of English congratulates Daniel Birkholz, who has been awarded a Solmsen Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Institute for Research in the Humanities, for the academic year 2009-2010.

His current book-project is entitled: "We Have to Invent Him: Harley Lyrics, Hereford Maps, and the Life of Roger de Breynton, c.1290-1351".  For more information about the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Institute for Research, please visit their website. [link]
