Wim Wenders, 1984
Paris, Texas
A man wanders out of the desert not knowing who he is. His brother finds him and helps restore his memory, reminding him of the life he led before he walked out on his wife and son four years earlier. As his memory returns, he has encounters with various people from his past. This is one of Wenders’ most critically acclaimed films. Paris, Texas was the winner of the Cannes Palm d’Or for best film in 1984. (approx. 148 minutes)
