Imposed Constitutions in Japan and Korea

Sung Ho Kim of Yonsei University in South Korea will be delivering a lecture on "Imposed Constitutions in Japan and Korea." Professor Kim is a distinguished political theorist and scholar of constitutionalism. He earned his Ph.D at the University of Chicago (where he won the Strauss Prize for best dissertation in political theory), and has taught for several years in the United States before returning to Korea. Among his many writings is a highly regarded study of Weberian thought published by Cambridge. Anyone interested in comparative public law, political theory, and the politics of East Asia will not want to miss this talk.
