Amanda Bosky is a doctoral student in the Department of Sociology. Her primary research interests are education and inequality across the life course. Her current work investigates how schools, communities, and families influence social stratification and mobility.
Amanda received a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2009, and she received a B.A. in History and Political Science from Northwestern University in 2006. Prior to entering graduate school, Amanda worked as an attorney for four years.
