Lecture by Maytté Hernández Lorenzo

 Hernández Lorenzo has published over one hundred articles, interviews
and critiques in cultural journals in Cuba and elsewhere. She is author
of /Vicente Revuelta: monólogo /(co-written with Omar Valiño). With
Valiño, she is presently finishing /El teatro cubano en primera
persona/, and a collection of her essays published in the cultural
journal /La Jiribilla/. In 1997 she received a fellowship from the
Observatory of Cultural Policies in Grenoble, France. Shw was awarded
the National Cultural Journalism Award in 1998. She was advisor to the
street theater movement and presently works with Teatro D’Dos. She is
also a faculty member of the Facultad de Artes Escénicas del Instituto
Superior de Arte. Integra la Sección de Crítica Teatral, de la Unión de
Escritores y Artistas de Cuba (UNEAC).
