In 1942, young Friedrich's boxing skills get him into a National Political Academy (Napola) -- Nazi boarding schools that raise the next Nazi elite. Against his father's wishes, Friedrich enrolls and subsequently encounters the harshness of the Nazi code, which results in hazing, death, and excessive cruelty.
