Centers
- Mexican Center: The Mexican Center of the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies was established in 1980 to promote greater knowledge and understanding of Mexico and to coordinate the advancement of Mexican studies at the University of Texas at Austin. The current director is Sociology Professor Bryan Roberts.
- Brazil Center: The Brazil Center's mission is to support Brazilian studies across academic disciplines at the University of Texas, to promote collaborative research and exchange between Texas and Brazil, and to raise awareness of Brazil and its culture through community outreach. The University of Texas at Austin is widely recognized as home to the top academic program in Latin American Studies and one of the most comprehensive Brazilian Studies programs in the United States.
- CILLA: The Center for Indigenous Languages of Latin America (CILLA) was established to contribute to knowledge about the indigenous languages of Latin America, to promote their maintenance, and to coordinate teaching programs in and about indigenous languages.
