Lecture: "Governing Climate Change: Perspective on and from Latin America"

This talk will discuss the governance of carbon offsets and the emerging challenges of governing international adaptation to climate change in the developing world.  Taking a broadly defined political ecology perspective, the analysis will range from the international climate negotiations to small communities in Latin America, and from material greenhouse gas reductions and climate risks to the political economy of offsets and adaptation as well as the agency of the people who create offsets and implement adaptation in their households.
