Tue, October 2, 2012

Three LAH students, Alex D'Jamoos, Miles Hutson, and Maria Arrellaga, took part in putting a piece together for The Daily Texan, the student newspaper at UT.  The story profiles Alex D'Jamoos, a sophomore LAH International Relations and Global studies major, who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in support of the Families International Center, a group that places disabled orphans with hosts in America so that they can undergo medical treatment.  Alex wanted to support this organizaton because of all the help they offered him.  Miles Hutson, a freshman LAH Journalism and International Relations and Global Studiese double major, interviewed Alex to write the article.  Maria Arrellaga, a junior LAH International Relations and Global studies major, took the photograph of Alex published with the piece.
