The John L. Warfield Center for African & African American Studies is hosting a Faculty Book Presentation Series, featuring a talk by Cherise Smith, author of "Enacting Others: Politics of Identity in Eleanor Antin, Nikki S. Lee, Adrian Piper, and Anna Deavere Smith" (Duke University Press, 2011).

Smith is an associate professor of art and art history and African & African diaspora studies at The University of Texas at Austin. The talk will be moderated by Shirley Thompson, associate professor of American studies and African & African diaspora studies.
