ZZ Packer

ZZ Packer (Fall 2008) is the author of the story collection Drinking Coffee Elsewhere, a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award and a New York Times Notable Book of 2003. A graduate of Yale (B.A.), Johns Hopkins (M.A.) and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop (M.F.A.), she was also a Stegner fellow at Stanford University. Her work has been recognized with a Guggenheim fellowship, the Whiting Award, and by inclusion in the Best American Short Stories 2000.
