The Texas Review of Law & Politics is proud to present Volumes 11 and 12 and the opportunity to order our upcoming V.13:1-2 (2008-2009). The Review, published at the University of Texas School of Law, is the nation's premier conservative law journal. Its mission is to be the prime forum for the discussion and debate of provocative legal issues such as criminal justice, federalism, affirmative action, constitutional history, and religious liberties.

In its short history, the Review has not only received the attention of the judiciary and of legal scholars, but it has also caught the attention of the popular media. The Arizona Supreme Court cited the Review in Kotterman v. Killian. The Review has also been cited in dozens of law journals, including the Duke Law Journal, the Georgetown Law Journal, the Michigan Law Review, the Texas Law Review and the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy.

Both the Washington Times and the Washington Post have cited the Review on multiple occasions, and the National Law Journal has referenced five of the Review's articles in its "Worth Reading" List. In a Washington Times editorial, Mr. Matthew Franck recently cited the Review's article on the illegal appointment of Bill Lann Lee. The article, co-authored by Mr. Steven J. Duffield and Mr. James C. Ho, appeared in the Review's Spring 1998 issue. George Will cited this article in his nationally syndicated column shortly after its release.

Similarly, in his guest column for the National Review Online, Texas Solicitor General R. Ted Cruz discussed a detailed study on school choice that appeared in the Spring 2002 issue of the Review. This study, conducted by Drs. Jerry Ellig and Kenneth Kelly, appeared in the Review within weeks of the Supreme Court's Zelman v. Simmons-Harris decision upholding the Cleveland school choice program.

Our many compelling and well-edited articles from esteemed authors are sure to benefit our readers and the legal community.
